LIST
of ID documents used in election process by the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, stateless persons and foreigners having right to participate in Municipal Elections

Scope of the persons having suffrage and ID documents used by them in election process in Municipal Elections was defined as follows:
1. Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan:
1.1. ID card of the citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
1.2. Temporary ID card of the citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan (form # 7).
2. IDP citizens:
2.1. If there are not the above-mentioned ID documents that approve the fact of temporarily settling in relevant area, then a card in the form defined by the State Committee on IDP issues of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
3. Military servants being on real or temporary military service:
3.1. Personal card of an officer;
3.2. Military ticket.
4. When the accused persons who are citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan and are arrested in detention places by choosing severe measures about them, as well as the persons implied by the items # 6 and 7 of this list vote as the accused persons:
4.1. ID document of the accused person submitted by the Main Office on the control upon the realization of Court Decisions of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
5. When the prisoner citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who were condemned to punishment in detention places and special institutions, as well as the persons implied by the items # 6 and 7 of this list vote as the prisoners:
5.1. ID document of the prisoner submitted by the Main Office on the control upon the realization of Court Decisions of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
6. Stateless persons who have permanently lived within the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan for not less than 5 years:
6.1. ID card of the stateless person.
7. Foreign citizens living within the territory of the relevant municipality not less than 5 years:
7.1. Card on the registration of a foreigner that is submitted to the foreign citizen intending to live in the Republic of Azerbaijan more than 30 days. During the election process besides the above-mentioned documents, the usage of other documents shall be prohibited.
