DECISION
of Central Election Commission
of the Republic of Azerbaijan
on the approval of “Calendar Plan on basic activities and measures for the preparation and conduct of popular vote (referendum) appointed to March 18, 2009 in order to make amendments and appendices to the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan”
Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan adopted decision on the conduct of popular vote (referendum) on March 18, 2009 to make amendments and appendices to the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
There caused necessity for the approval of Calendar Plan on basic activities and measures for the preparation and conduct of popular vote (referendum) to implement the activities specified by Election Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan by the relevant subjects during the conduct of referendum, as well as simplification of their activities in referendum process and to render methodical assistance.
Taking the above-mentioned as a basis and pursuant to Articles 19.4, 19.14, 26.1, 28.2, 28.4, 25.3 and 122 of Election Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CEC) decides:
1. “Calendar Plan on basic activities and measures for the preparation and conduct of popular vote (referendum) appointed to March 18, 2009 to make amendments and appendices to the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan” shall be approved.
2. Calendar Plan shall be published at latest within 2 days since the day of its approval.
3. Decision shall be in force since the day of its publication.
