LIST
of ID documents used on the voting day in Presidential Elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan
1. The following documents shall be used within the Republic of Azerbaijan on the voting day:
1.1. For citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan:
- ID card of the citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- temporary ID card of the citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
1.2. For refugees and IDPs:
If there is not ID document implied by the item # 1 of the List, then a card in the form defined by the State Committee on IDP issues of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
1.3. For military servants being on real or temporary military service:
- personal card of an officer;
- military ticket.
1.4. The prisoner condemned to punishment in detention places and special institutions:
- ID document of the prisoner submitted by the Main Office on the control upon the realization of Court Decisions of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
1.5. The accused persons arrested in detention institutions by selecting severe measures in the form of arrest about them:
- ID document of the accused citizen submitted by the Main Office on the control upon the realization of Court Decisions of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
1.6. Persons without citizenship who have permanently lived within the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan at least 5 years:
- ID card of the person without citizenship.
2. The following documents shall be used outside of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the voting day:
2.1. For citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan:
- citizen passport;
- service passport;
- diplomatic passport.
Note: during the election process, besides the above-mentioned documents, the usage of other documents shall be prohibited.
