DECISION
of Central Election Commission
of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the approval of candidacy of Mr. Alimukhtar Dadash oghlu Akbarov nominated on his own initiative by Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan
Mr. Alimukhtar Dadash oghlu Akbarov was nominated on his own initiative in Presidential Elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan to be conducted on October 15, 2008.
Documents for the approval of the candidate’s nomination were submitted to the CEC on August 2, 2008.
CEC conducted investigation related on this in period and case implied by legislation and determined bases for approving the nominated candidacy.
Adopting the above-mentioned as a basis, pursuant to Articles 56 and 100 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Articles 19.4, 19.14, 28.2, 28.4, 52 and 54 of Election Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan decides:
1. Candidacy of Mr. Alimukhtar Dadash oghlu Akbarov who has been nominated on his own initiative in Presidential Elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan appointed on October 15, 2008 shall be approved.2. The decision shall be enforced since the day of its publication.
