DECISION
of Central Election Commission
of the Republic of Azerbaijan on making amendments to “Rules for providing the candidate to municipality membership, authorized representatives of the candidate, political parties and political party blocs by the Constituency Election Commission in Municipal Elections” and attaching “Act on providing with signature sheets for the collection of voter signatures in support of candidates to municipality membership in Municipal Elections” to the Rules
Pursuant to Articles 19.4, 19.14, 25.3, 28.2 and 28.4 of Election Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, CEC decides:
1. The following amendment shall be made to the first paragraph of “Rules for providing the candidate to municipality membership, authorized representatives of the candidate, political parties and political party blocs by the Constituency Election Commission in Municipal Elections”:
The collection of voter signatures in support of candidates shall commence since the day of relevant election commission adopts the decision that approves candidate nomination.
2. The sample of Act on providing with signature sheets for the collection of voter signatures in support of candidates to municipality membership in Municipal Elections” shall be approved and attached to these Rules as an Appendice # 2.
