Decision
of the Central Election Commission
of the Republic of Azerbaijan
on the approval
of the text and format of ballot papers in third
call Elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic
of Azerbaijan appointed on November 6, 2005
Central Election Commission of
the Republic of Azerbaijan (CEC) decides pursuant
to Articles 19.4, 19.14, 25.2.11, 51.3, 99, 166
and 28.4 of Election Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan
and Articles 3.5 and 3.6 of the Law on the approval
and enforcement of Election Code of the Republic
of Azerbaijan dated on May 27, 2003:
1. In third call Elections to the Milli Majlis
of the Republic of Azerbaijan appointed on November
6, 2005, the text and format of ballot papers
shall be approved by sequent enumerating of 125
constituencies and indicating the number of relevant
constituency, by successively numbering, by providing
with comment on the rule for completing and placing
above the information about candidates, by placing
on upper left side where the number is cut, by
being place of stamp on upper right corner and
cut line on lower right corner, by indicating
surname, name, patronymic, date of birth, main
working or service place (if not any- then type
of activity) of each registered candidate in alphabetical
order, who was nominated by, of the registered
candidate, short name, emblem of the registered
candidate nominated by political parties, short
name, emblem of the bloc if there is agreement
in spite of the emblem of the political party
the registered candidate nominated by political
party blocs belongs to, emblems of political parties
and political party blocs at the same color (black-white),
on his/her won intend, by indicating party affiliation
of the registered candidate nominated on his/her
own initiative or by directly by voters.
2. In accordance with the information about the
number of voters included in permanent voters
list dated on October 8, 2005, 4.802.962 ballot
papers shall be prepared being more than 3% of
the number of voters on each of 125 constituencies
and printed in the Press of Apparatus of the Milli
Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan (the information
on constituencies shall be attached).
